LABINAT

The Biochemistry and Natural Products Laboratory of the Animal Science and Rural Development Department of the Agricultural Sciences Center of the Federal University of Santa Catarina was created in 2010 under the name of Animal Biochemistry and Morphophysiology Laboratory (LABIMA). Since then, the laboratory has been developing several teaching, research and extension activities in the area of natural products aimed at animal production. Through medicinal plants or natural products in animal husbandry systems, it is intended to contribute to the production of safe, clean, environmentally sustainable and higher quality food.
